Dennis Rodman has had a lengthy NBA career, playing for the Bulls, the Mavericks, the Lakers, the Spurs, and the Pistons. But he is perhaps best known for his tenure with the Bulls -- and that was abundantly clear when Bulls fans gave The Worm a standing ovation upon his arrival.Â
Â
Appearing to get kind of emotional, Rodman thanked the crowd, saying:Â "I don't know what to say. Thank you."
Â
Rodman, who is easily one of the most beloved Bulls players (maybe even one of the most beloved in NBA history), was handed a microphone to address the crowd. Unfortunately, the mic was apparently muted but the high emotions definitely resonated regardless.Â
Â
Rodman has five championship wins under his belt, which includes two with the Detroit Pistons and three with the Chicago Bulls. This sense of pride an entire city feels towards one of their local basketball legends was very clear.Â
Â
The Chicago Bulls won a whopping 72 games in their first season, landing them the distinction of being one of the greatest NBA teams of all time... and many look at big trio (Rodman, Michael Jordan, and Scottie Pippen) as the biggest catalyst for this legendary success.Â
